admins don't necessarily need to be "on" all the time.
stephen has his own other site to manage, and mingtao has his own projects to do. if you want a definition of admin, just check the positions topic, it's somewhere up there...

the google bot, i don't know exactly why it's there, all i know is that google sponsors this website. i think there's a yahoo bot too.

well, yeah... it's a forum.
the only things that make forums different are
1) topics
2) interface
3) members.
most people use forums powered by phpBB, like this one.
